Well, sometimes what the Protestants believe isn’t always far from the truth. Sometimes they mix East and West and muddle the understanding a bit. But in this case you are right, the Rapture is indeed a purely Protestant interpretation of Scripture.

Is there a difference in RC and EC belief in the Four Last Things? My guess is that they are the same, though expressed differently. I’d also guess that the Protestants believe in the Four Last Things, but probably don’t refer to them as such.

From what I’ve seen, you’re correct. The (Byzantine) East and the West have pretty much the same teachings on the four last things, although they speak of them differently.Is there a difference in RC and EC belief in the Four Last Things? I would think that since we are both in communion with rome that we believe the same way and that we do not believe in a rapture.

Pre-Tribulation Rapture is the creation of Anglican John Nelson Darby from the 19th century. St. Paul does not speak of a period of affliction and persecution following the Rapture.
St. Gregory of Nyssa writes: “…when the resurrection trumpet sounds which awakens the dead in an instant transforms those who are left alive to incorruptibility according to the likeness of those who have undergone the resurrection change, so that the bulk of the flesh is no longer heavy nor does its weight hold them down to earth, but they rise up through the air …”.

“The ones against Christ”, or the unworthy shall suffer what is sometimes called “the second death”, aka hell.

No, everyone will continue on for eternity. Its just a matter of being in paradise with God, or being separated from God and in torment and suffering in hell.
