How do we believe the world is going to end? Can somebody please list all the events that are going to occur if possible?
Second Coming, resurrection of all, Final Judgement. How do we believe the world is going to end? Can somebody please list all the events that are going to occur if possible?
Well, sometimes what the Protestants believe isn’t always far from the truth. Sometimes they mix East and West and muddle the understanding a bit. But in this case you are right, the Rapture is indeed a purely Protestant interpretation of Scripture.Doesn’t the term “rapture” point to a Protestant understanding rather than an Eastern Catholic one?
Is there a difference in RC and EC belief in the Four Last Things? My guess is that they are the same, though expressed differently. I’d also guess that the Protestants believe in the Four Last Things, but probably don’t refer to them as such.Well, sometimes what the Protestants believe isn’t always far from the truth. I haven’t really read about it that much. There is of course the belief of resurrection on the final day and final judgement. Is there a difference in RC and EC belief in the Four Last Things? From what I’ve seen, you’re correct. The (Byzantine) East and the West have pretty much the same teachings on the four last things, although they speak of them differently. Is there a difference in RC and EC belief in the Four Last Things? Can you elaborate on the difference? From what I’ve seen, you’re correct. The (Byzantine) East and the West have pretty much the same teachings on the four last things, although they speak of them differently.
All will be resurrectedWait so what exsactly do all Catholics believe in about the end of the world?
Okay! I hered it a different way that the ones against Christ will be taken away and killed or something? I forgot. All will be resurrected
Final Judgement
New heaven and earth
The worthy will live in full communion with God for eternity
The unworthy will be cast out
“The ones against Christ”, or the unworthy shall suffer what is sometimes called “the second death”, aka hell.Okay! I hered it a different way that the ones against Christ will be taken away and killed or something? I forgot.
Thank you!

No, everyone will continue on for eternity. Its just a matter of being in paradise with God, or being separated from God and in torment and suffering in hell.Okay! I hered it a different way that the ones against Christ will be taken away and killed or something? I forgot.
Thank you!
