I was searching for info on the Eastern Churches and found these interesting videos, so i thought i would share. I can’t attest to the accuracy of them since i’m still learning about them, but i found them very informative anyway. :tiphat:

Fr. Don Sawyer, PhD, pastor of Our Lady’s Maronite Church in Austin, Texas, produced this DVD as an effort to introduce the viewer to the Eastern Churches. Brought to you by: thehiddenpearl.org

Overall, the three-part video is good.

One part with which I disagree is the statement in the third video on the differences between the Eastern Catholic Churches and the Orthodox Churches.

On the Eastern Catholic Churches:

“All these Churches…are Catholic in the fullest sense, recognizing Papal Primacy.”

On the differences between the two:

“The differences may be more to politics, culture and language than to theology.”

Overall though, the information is very helpful. 🙂

Just curious - why exactly do you disagree with these two statements?
