Hello. I was wondering…are Eastern-rite Catholics in communion with Rome? By that I mean, are they under the Pope’s authority and are they part of the Roman Catholic Church as a whole? Thank you.

Yes, Eastern Rite Catholics are in union with Rome and are under the authority of the Pope.
