Hi there.
I thought that when Easterners concelebrate with Latins, they use the cope and don’t wear their Eastern vestments (I guess except for when an Easterner is being consecrated a Bishop).
But in the opening Mass for the Middle East synod, the Eastern bishops wear their full Eastern vestments. It looks beautiful but I thought that’s contrary to the rule. How is this customarily done?
