Little do they know that Monday fasting is an ancient Greek monastic tradition to imitate angels, who are honored on Monday. 😃

Now, it’s “green” to eat less meat and we should skip meat one day a week! Oh, yes, they say Mondays. wouldn’t want to pick Friday for that meatless day, would we, and confuse the whole science issue with religion!

and then, after 10 years, the’ll say that we should eat more meat…It will be a disaster for the German meat industry.

For me, nothing against, nothing in favour. as a friend of mine would say: there is no advantage to die healthy…

Hah that is funny. I learn something new every day on this forum. Thanks for sharing this. So what else is done to honor the angels on Mondays?

God bless.

if the government wanted us to eat healthy they would subsidize healthy food, instead of junk as they do now
farmers would be paid to return their pastures of corn and soy to natural grasslands for free range cattle, WIC coupons and food stamps would not buy refined grains and sugars and their byproducts, and all the food pyramid would be turned upside down

they don’t so they don’t ergo the government has made a conscious deliberate decision to further increase the cost of health care by subsidizing all who produce and sell worthless grains and sugars derived from them and therefore promoting the obesity and diabetes epidemics they have caused
