Hi.
If you know a person who swear at least once every time you are with them, are they eligible as cooks for a catholic?

To be sure I understand: Are you asking if someone you know that uses foul language can be a professional cook?

Do you mean, a Catholic is considering hiring someone as a cook, but is worried that he shouldn’t hire the person because he (the cook) swears a lot?

I remember this quote from the Holy Scripture (Paul 7:7):

Yes that is what I wonder. Then this quote from the Holy Scripture:

Lets say a weak person who has a fever and do not want to eat much, then it is due to his illness. Can this be linked to that his faith was weak so that he got sick?
If someone else cooks bad food for for example then it may be the bad faith of others who makes people sick. Is this correct?
A man with strong faith could however be around people like tax-collectors.
If a person is merely human then it is dangerous for the safety to be with sick people and even sinners. However there may be some virtue in sacrificing yourself?

I am really trying to follow, but I just can’t make sense out of your statement. Are you essentially asking if the person cooking the food would use the food as a means to poison others’ faith because they swear a lot?

I was thinking different thoughts during this day. Now I found these quotes that made me more humble: Romans 14:03-04. Then Galatians 5 are good too (Galatians 5:13-15).

If I hired someone who occasionally used *vulgarities, *that would be one thing. But if he took the Lord’s Name in vain, I would ask him to stop. As long as he tried to stop, and most people can-- they don’t talk like that around certain people-- then I would not have a problem.

I’m such a terrible cook people eating anything I made would swear at ME! 😉
