This topic may or may not open a big can of worms, but I’ve Googled this to death and so far it’s hard to find a straight answer. Anyhoo, is it wrong to eat out anywhere on Ash Wednesday or Good Friday? I’m not talking about going bonkers at your local seafood buffet, but if you’d just like to get a roll and coffee that morning, or pick up some fish and chips for supper, would that hurt anything?

Just asking.

You’re good. As long as you follow the one full meal and two small ones, it doesn’t matter where the food comes from.

Oh for goodness sake! I’ve been catching my food in the wild all this time and now people say I could’ve ate at my local food chains??.. 😝 haha lol.

One normal meal and two smaller meals are fine, thats the only requirment. Oh and no meats.

Lol, thanks everyone. And now I suddenly feel very old for saying “bonkers”! 😆

It is more about the quantity of food eaten during fast days then where.

Oh I know, lol. I meant “no worries” about the meats.

Well, what about wild-caught salmon for dinner? 😉
