I was reading ‘an answer to critics’ of women ordination and the woman responded with this phrase.

What does it mean?

I’m no expert in Latin, but I would surmise it to mean “The Church is always reforming itself.”

If she’s hanging her hat for women’s ordination on this phrase, she’s out of luck. The issue has been definitively closed, most recently by Pope John Paul II. The Church may undergo reformation in this ir that non-essential, but it does not change.

I’m no expert, but I can say that it means, literally, “the Church should always be reformed.” Basically the same. Ditto above comments.
