Eclipse = Jesus second coming?

From my understanding not even jesus knows the hour of his second coming and the end of days now what I heard was the anti christ will reveal himself in the temple after the last eclipse " I know I read too much on the internet" but second coming I doubt it

My personal belief it that when Jesus does return it wont be with little signs here and there but a great big one where everyone on the planet will know he has returned.

I can’t really p(name removed by moderator)oint why it scares me. I think because i really want a stronger faith to believe that when we die, its not the end? The mere thought of death, or losing a loved one scares me.

You are Christian. Thus, you believe the words of Christ. Listen to Him:

Mark 9:43-47

“And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell”

Where does Jesus teach that “death” is the end? What we see as death is simply the end of this world for us. Our Lord tells us that we are entering into life, not death. Death is simply the door to life. Let us listen to our Lord once again:

John 16:33

I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

And, what do we know about the end times? Once again:

Luke 21:27-28

:And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

“Redemption”, and not damnation. Christ came not to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Take heart!

I want to believe in Heaven. Being that my faith isn’t strong, Im not 100% there.

I suggest that you take a very bold step to solve all of the uncertainty that plagues you: Go directly into the true presence of Christ Jesus and ask Him to increase your faith.

But how?

Find your local Catholic parish. Ask them when they offer adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (holy hour). Go and kneel before Christ. Oh, it may not appear to be Him at first. But since you doubt, ask Him to reveal to you that He is present in the Holy Eucharist. Then, be as patient with Him as He has been with you. And, as Fr. Benedict Groeschel teaches, “When you are aware that He is there, you will be changed.”

Just go.

This is certainly a very unusual event in the heavens…

The first of four, consecutive, total lunar eclipses, which cause a roughly hour-long reddening of the moon known as a “Blood Moon,” will become visible beginning at 12:53 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 15.

Tuesday’s blood moon is part of a “tetrad,” a set of complete and consecutive lunar eclipses that will continue in roughly six-month intervals until October 2015.

Some consider it nothing more than an alignment of the heavens, but others are watching much more closely, because of the alignment with biblical prophecy.

Biltz notes there’s something else unique about this tetrad: it’s convergence with biblical holy days.

The April 15 event, for example, happens during Passover. On Oct. 8, the blood moon will occur during the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot. Another blood moon will occur during Passover on April 4, 2015. The last will happen on Sept. 28, 2015, another Feast of the Tabernacles.

I am glad that you are scared because it may be an indicator that you have some things to work on. Don’t we all.

Reading your post, I am so grateful that as a Catholic, I can go to confession. As the days go on, I can reflect on how I am dealing with people and events, where I am failing, and bring it to the confessional. When the priest says, *Your sins are forgiven, go in peace, *I can go in peace with a clean slate. Of course I am taking my failings with me but God is in the equation and He will be my strength and guide. There is peace in that. He sees my efforts.

If Jesus comes in 3 months but I’m in a car crash tomorrow, his coming in 3 months won’t matter a bit to me. I am doing what I can to be in the friendship of God today.

Nobody knows when Jesus will return.

You want to freak out? Do so when an eclipse happens that is not calculated or explained. Imagine watching the sun dance. (that actually happened)

I for one hope the end of the world or more importantly the end of my life comes when I am in a state of grace and friendship with God. So I like the idea of confession.

BUt think about it. The end of the world or the end of your life is kind of the same thing as far as your soul is concerned. And blood moon or not, you could die today. And that would be your own personal “end of the world”

the Lord said “don’t be asleep when I knock at the door” your awareness and “watching waiting” is a sign of faith. he says “do not worry for these things must pass” he SAYS when we start to see signs in the sky/etc… be on guard the time is near. We would be STUPID not to, it’s like, if there’s a storm coming

Our Lady’s predictions are around, there’s Catholic Mystics/Saints also who talk about 3 days darkness (Padre Pio) I think JP2 talks about some of this in encyclicals
