Ecumenism and Interfaith Dialogue are big buzzwords that we encounter all the time in Catholic circles.

What, in your estimation, is their purpose???

The quick quip is to put ourselves in a position that allows the Holy Spirit to guide us in fixing the mess we’ve made of things.
His Church should not be divided.

Edit: I’m speaking of ecumenism, here, not interfaith dialogue.
