I have been told, that there is a passage in Ut Unum Sint, which suggests that the role of the Papacy should be discussed and reformulated, since it is an obstacle to unity, or something along those lines.
Since there are plenty of other writings I need to read, I don’t at present have time for reading the whole encyclical, but would just like to ask what the exact statement is in it’s immediate context, and how we are to understand it - and not understand it.
