I went to an OF Mass last friday and the priest did not wash his hands during the Offertory.
Is this liturgical abuse and a valid Mass?

It’s not a major abuse; it may have been a mistake.I went to an OF Mass last friday and the priest did not wash his hands during the Offertory.

It’s the confection of the Eucharist that’s really valid or invalid as opposed to the whole Mass. It wouldn’t invalidate the Eucharist and it had no affect on the Mass.and a valid Mass?
I agree, it’s likely that it happened and the person just didn’t notice. Even if it wasn’t present, it was most likely a mistake and a very minor abuse.Perhaps you were so enraptured in the majesty of the Sacred Mysteries that you missed the priest doing so.
As others said, even if the priest left it out deliberately (which would be wrong for us to assume that he did), the Mass would still be valid.
Two more things would invalidate the mass:The only thing that would invalidate the Mass would be using improper matter or deliberatley mangling the words of consecration.
