Hey everyone!, Im scrupulous, and i wonder, could i ever ask my Priest to give me the Sacrament of Anointing of the sick, Would this classify as a case where i could get anointed?? Thank you for your replies!, GOD BLESS!

I think some of the Eastern Rites anoint everyone once per year. In the Latin Rite, however, the sacrament is reserved for life-threatening conditions.

Reconciliation is a great healing in itself. The Mass is greater.

When i was being hit hard with intrusive thoughts i spent day after day in my room crying, not wanting to eat, stressed, headaches, chest pain, anxiety. I was a mess and a sad sight. I recieved it. And shortly aftrr they lost their power, and just stopped. Rarely do they come. Also i have had asthma since i was a small child, cough pretty much everyday and my inhalor i would use everyday if not more, nothing would help. That also has been gone. And when i cough its because its allergy season here, and that lasts a couple of minutes. If you can ask that would he great.

God helped me and still is helping me so much, sometimes you’re just left in awe.

This isn’t an exactly the extent of the Church’s teaching. It is somewhat nuanced in that it refers to grave illness but then also refers to “old age” and also to receiving prior to a “serious operation” and for those who are “frail”. From the Catechism:

In case of grave illness . . .

1514 The Anointing of the Sick "is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death. Hence, as soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time for him to receive this sacrament has certainly already arrived."129

1515 If a sick person who received this anointing recovers his health, he can in the case of another grave illness receive this sacrament again. If during the same illness the person’s condition becomes more serious, the sacrament may be repeated. It is fitting to receive the Anointing of the Sick just prior to a serious operation. the same holds for the elderly whose frailty becomes more pronounced.

Life-threatening is interpreted rather broadly for this. For example: I think it is allowable for one who will be receiving general anesthesia, for a mother approaching child birth, etc.
I recently had a cataract operation. Ordinarily this would not be sufficient justification, but I have diabetes which inhibits healing and makes me vulnerable to infection. Our priest, who does everything by the book, accepted that as sufficient justification.
