Who is Jesus, according to you? (I’m not interested in what the Hindus, Muslims, Bahai, Shinto, etc. think about Him.) This is a pivotal question. If you accept that He is God, then how do you get around His strict adherence to Scripture and its inviolability? (You can not use the argument of “He was bowing to convention,” because He was impervious to it: His mission was Truth.)

It may be a little hostile, but now Bohm has a duty to respond. He can’t just delete it, and everyone’s going to see it.

I don’t think it’s hostile at all. It is an invitation to a discussion that BB should have for his own good. He’s been all over the place for the last few months in terms of his faith so this could help him clarify and simplify things a bit. No harm in that.

I’m looking forward to following this thread.
 
Show some respect and keep private business just that. This is incredibly tacky and low class.

I find this thread interesting if this thread is allowed to continue. I hope so because at the very least we can discuss the chart.

I find the chart incomplete. It assumes one believes Jesus made such a claim that He is God. While I personally believe he did, it doesn’t change the fact that the chart is missing some possibilities. It’s a nice simple chart, but incomplete. It ignores those who would say Jesus was a made up story, and Jesus never made such a claim and from those two you could get sub charts.

I noticed the same thing. I guess the chart is only meant to represent mainstream positions (claims that both Jesus didn’t exist and that he made no claims to being the Messiah and/or God are considered fringe), but even then it should acknowledge the possibility of one believing that, especially this is about what **Bohm **believes, not necessarily scholars.
 
I submit that “Jesus was a made-up story” is already covered under the left side. Just replace “Jesus Claims to be God” with “Apostles Claim Jesus was God.” Everything on the left side would also apply then to the early church. They were either all evil or lunatics.
