Dr. Gee, the president of Ohio state university, should be called to task here. He had the opportunity to give the little sisters if the poor a lifeline, both monetarily and publically. Who knows, if he had maybe we wouldnt have this situation. Honestly, that’s the last time and only other time I’ve ever heard of them.

We have the Little Sisters of ThecPoor here in Denver. They run the Mullen home for seniors.Jeanne Jugen is my patron saint,so they are dear to my heart,as they were my now deceased mother.

They run St. Martin’s home for Seniors here in Maryland. They have a wonderful ministry. I remember doing pseudo-field trips in Catholic elementary school to play bingo with the seniors. What joy it brought them to interact with the children.

I grew up in Richmond and the Sisters were a fixture in the Catholic community there.

Very sad.
