Im not sure if this is the applicable forum but I thought Id shove it here and hope for the best:

Does anybody know of any good religious educationalists? preferably from a Catholic or generic christian perspective? The only name I have been given is Thomas Groome but Id rather have a choice so if anyone has some ideas that be class

(Background is doing graduate work in education as well as teaching religious education as part of a non-denominational curriculum within a Catholic ethos school)

So if anyone can direct me to some books or articles that’d be class, but even a name would be helpful.

Cheers!

I know saint Elizabeth Ann Seton started the first free Catholic school in America (I am almost sure) so maybe she is someone you could research over the Internet and try to get any ideas from her. Hope this helps!

Not sure precisely what you are looking for, but Maria Montessori (sp?) might fit your requirements.
