Communion at these would be illicit and the Mass would not satisfy your Sunday obligation since SSPX is schismatic. Also due to their status thier confessions would be invalid. Try someplace else.

Come back to the Church and urge your SSPX priest to do the same. The FFSP was formed from SSPX priests who wanted to remaim loyal to the Church. Your priest can do the same. God bless.
btw…anyone can email the Bishop in the diocese where they want to attend to see if it is licit to attend a particular service. If Bishop does not grant faculties to a priest any Mass celebrated in his diocese is illicit. God Bless.

Wrong. SSPX Masses do fulfill Sunday obligation provided attended for the right reason. No sin or canonical delict is incurred. Furthermore, the SSPX is not schismatic. Church authorities have stated as much.

Visit the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales and find an authorised Mass backed by the mainstream Church. There are plenty of Latin Masses in Britain.

It does have something to do with Latin Mass’s in the UK and Ireland though Dempsey. The SSPX says Mass’s in the UK and Ireland. Therefore, I don’t think anyone has strayed from the point of the thred.
The only people leading others astray are those that spread disinformation (lies??) about the SSPX.

It means ‘Extraordinary Form’ i.e. the Tridentine (Latin) Mass.

Yeah, I should have known that. We’re fortunate enough to livve near Mother Angelica and the EF is offered at the Shrine periodically. What a blessing!
