This incident is a hot topic today in SA and surely in most Arabic countries right now, I thought you should know about it, (Youtube).

I really wonder if the kneeling action most Muslim players do in the soccer field is really for Allah or its part of the hypocrisy to gain the sympathy of the supporters!

“Horny Egypt players brought five prostitutes to their hotel rooms on the night their team competed in the Confederations Cup – and later claimed US2400 (R19377) had been stolen from their rooms.
Yesterday a spokesperson at the Norwood police station, where the case has been reported, said they had evidence that some of the Egyptian players brought hookers to their hotel to celebrate their historic win against world champions Italy on Thursday night.
A police officer says: “We have confirmed that some of the players brought prostitutes, whom they picked up on Oxford Road [in Rosebank], to their hotel rooms and we have strong suspicions that they were cleaned out by those ladies of the night.”
The police’s claim was confirmed by members of Thaba Strategic Service – the security company guarding the Protea Hotel Wanderers.”

This news is false.
The only source for this news was Sunday World (a trashy tabloid in South Africa). They wanted to fabricate news after the Egyptian team was robbed by saying they were robbed by prostitutes.However 2 days later, truth was revealed when the Brazilian team reported that they were also robbed.

Danny Jordaan the head of the organising committee in South Africa apologised for the false rumours. Also the police department in SA anounced that they have nothing to do with this news.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHI’ITE ISLAM AND MAINSTREAM ISLAM? :eek:
i think this is the fourth time i’ve said this. But temporary marriage (mutah) is a shi’ite thing. Plus somebody has already rejected this info as fake-why do ppl continue to believe it to be true? :confused:

Egypt receive apology over prostitutes allegations

The head of the Confederations Cup organizing committee Danny Jordaan offered an apology to the Egyptian national team over the recent saga in South Africa.

Local media in South Africa claimed that a handful of Egypt players were embroiled in a ‘party with hookers’ at the weekend, following the robbery of some members of the team.

The allegations, provided with no evidence, provoked a furious reaction from Egypt players and officials, especially that they received the news from home.

However, Egypt head of delegation Mahmoud Taher said that renowned South African official Jordaan backed the Pharaohs in the chaotic case.

“Jordaan admitted that the media allegations were baseless and apologized for that,” Taher told FilGoal.com.

“We also received a notification from police, denying any involvement in the media claims. I think this restores the pride of our team.”

Meanwhile, the theft incident is still under investigation by the local police, who now have more work to do after the Brazil team rooms were ransacked as well.

South Africa are facing heavy criticism over their poor security measures, one year ahead of the 2010 World Cup.

Shi’a Muslims are not really Muslims ? Sunnis may be the overwhelming majority of Islam, but how does that make Shi’a Muslims any less “mainstream” :confused: 🙂 ?​

well then , when you criticise thiere acts specifiy that you are talking about shi3a , hence may be you can find most of muslims in your side against them , we just trying to remove the confusion

Well there is some controversy in the issue but yeah. Some sunni scholars consider them to be kafirs while others consider them to be a deviant sect.

The reason I posted that is because those players were kneeling towards Allah whenever they scored a goal, and in the same night they brought those hookers to their rooms, they suppose to be Muslims and adultery is a sin in Islam.

Beside no one ever expected them to be defeated 3-0 by USA (USA defeated 3-1 by Italy and 3-0 by Brazil), Egypt had the chance to qualify for the semifinal even if they had been defeated 2-0 by USA in the worst case scenario, but is seems God doesn’t want them to qualify and USA won 3-0, now could that be because they sinned in the same night when God gave them the victory over Italy 1-0 instead of praying and thanking Him!!!..

While Christians can pray any place they want, Muslims suppose to have a clean place and precise direction to kneel towards Kaaba (i.e., Mosques) and not kneeling in unknown direction in a dirty place like the soccer court.
