Actually, we don’t need to “respect” Islam, which propagates blatant falsehoods. How are lies respectable? Isn’t it interesting, that Salman Rushdie publishes “The Satanic Verses,” and a Muslim cleric calls for his death. (It seems like every time Muslim clerics get offended enough they call for a “jihad.”) Then some artist places a crucifix in urine and calls it “art,” or Dan Brown publishes “The DaVinci Code,” or some other such thing… did any Cardinals call for them to be killed? And you’re telling us that we need to “respect” Islam? Are you kidding?

And what about Hinduism, which relegates a whole caste of people to sub-human status? What’s “respectable” about that?
