Please keep in prayer and elderly friend who has had a stroke. She is the same one that I asked for prayers in

Prayers for the Elderly

She has recently been moved to a very small space 10x10 with a roommate who also has the same amount or room. Her daughter believes it contributed to the stroke. Please include in your prayers her daughters and son.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen

I am truly sorry for your friend’s terrible affliction. I cannot imagine what it would be like to have a stroke, or for someone close to me to have one, and I greatly admire the compassion you have towards your friend and your effort of asking for prayers for her. I pray that your friend may be healed of all her mental and physical afflictions, that she may gain strength, hope, and greater charity through the suffering of her trial, remembering that Christ Crucified suffers with her and brings her suffering to a level of redemptive power. I also pray for her roomate, and for both their families, that your friend and all of them may be forgiven their sins and grow in the relationship with God, especially through the charity they hopefully show towards your friend, and I also pray these intentions for all those who have suffered strokes and who help stroke victims. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your friend’s guardian angel, and St. Andrew Avellino, patron saint of stroke victims. God bless. 🙂

Hail Holy Queen
Mother of Mercy, Our Life, Our Sweetness and Our Hope
To Thee Do We Cry, Poor Banished Children of Eve
To Thee Do We Send Up Our Sighs
Mourning and Weeping in this Valley of Tears.
Turn, then, Most Gracious Advocate
Thine Eyes of Mercy Towards Us
And After This, Our Exile, Show Unto Us
The Blessed Fruit of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
O Clement, O Loving, O Sweet
Virgin Mary.

Praying for your elderly friend and her children. I commend them to the Blessed Virgin Mary and ask her to help them.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
