This is just an amazing story:
inhabitat.com/incredible-cathedral-built-by-one-man-with-salvaged-materials/

This man, Don Justo, is building a Cathedral all by himself using his own money. He has no training for this and is doing it because he prayed to Our Blessed Mother to help him recover from tuberculosis. When that happened he vowed to devote his life to this project. What a story!
What an amazing and truly beautiful story! This is something that truly is inspiring and something of great true faith to God. God bless this man.

I would love to visit it one day since it says in the article that Justo plans to open it completely towards the faithful once it is finished.

Truly amazing.

I’d also like to visit this place. The design is beautiful even though it’s being made with scraps. That makes it all the more incredible. Don Justo must be some sort of genious to be able to come up with a building like this when he has no training in architecture.

Nice building but something tells me he has to have some training. This is to well planned and thought out.

Considering the progress he has made, God most assuredly approves of his endeavor

Maybe he’s consulted with someone more knowledgable from time to time, after all he’s been working on this for 50 years. But that doesn’t really matter since he’s done most all of the work and has come up with the necessary materials, and done this in a most creative way.
To me, it’s a standing monument to his faith and love for our Blessed Mother and the drive and tenacity he has to continue working all this time. Look at the photo of him. He’s very thin and his clothes have holes in them. Obviously this means a lot to him.
