Elect?

Matthew 24:12 - If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Mark 13:20 - If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.

Mark 13:22 - For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect–if that were possible.

Are these ‘elect’ those who accepted Jesus into there lives?

Are these ‘elect’ those who accepted Jesus into there lives?

The elect are those who keep the ten commandments. His church is the elect, the new Israel, the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church. People that go to heaven are his elect and people that go to hell have rejected him.
