Officials, stakeholders: Election was ‘most secure in American history’

A coalition of leading federal and state election officials, along with top voting equipment manufacturers, on Thursday unequivocally stated that there was “no evidence” that any voting system was compromised or vot

It’s interesting you posted this 2 hours ago and had no replies, that’s probably because it states facts and not fallacies what many believe.

Well, it’s more fun to argue about baseless claims and conspiracy theories than it is to accept facts.

This has to be the most laughable claim I have heard since Hillary Clinton denied “wiping” her server " you mean with a cloth?!"

Why? So far every one of Trump’s lawsuits alleging fraud have either been withdrawn or dismissed (in all cases for lack of evidence).

For some examples (from explicitly as non-liberal mediaish as I could quickly find sources):

I’m going to say this, and it’s not meant to insult anyone here.

Trump has been saying for months (if not years) that the only way he would lose is if there was cheating. Secondly, he said that if mail-in voting was allowed there would never be another Republican elected to national office. It’s part of his plan to delegitimize a potential loss.

He’s been indoctrinating his supporters in these two lies for a long time. They now believe it. They’ve taken it hook, line, and sinker.

Now, he lost, and he lost (relatively) big. Predictably, his supporters everywhere are claiming the election was stolen from Trump (them). Why? Because the’ve been conditioned to believe that the majority of the country agrees with them, that the majority of the country obviously would vote for Trump.

It’s really an interesting study. There’s no evidence of widespread fraud. There’s no reason to believe that Trump won.

Boy, the liberal is really good at hoodwinking their audiences into believing whatever ridiculous story
they put out there for their audiences to swallow!!
That definitely sounds like something from CNN.

It is so frightening to see the partnership between the
democrat party and the media - CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, along with the print media newspapers, magazines, etc.

They have expertly learned how to manipulate their telling of the stories they want listeners and readers to believe. The false narratives thrown out there are lapped up by the public. It is really insidious!

Meanwhile, the democrat party along with their conspirators the liberal media are patting themselves on the back and congratulating one another and laughing at how easily they have convinced half the country to swallow their lies hook, line and sinker!!

The idea of mail in ballots was fine when they were used by a few, However, like anything else, can be abused and used to commit fraud. The internet was an ingenious and convenient addition to our modern lives, but can also be used for very bad things.

What we have witnessed the last 4 years by the democrat party should not happen in a democracy.
The evil and treacherous behavior against the president has been unprecedented. Personally, I don’t want to live in a country or be ruled by a corrupt government that allows this to continue.

The democrat party has no shame and I believe there is nothing they will not stoop to in order to steal an election. To use your own words @PaulinVA, my post is not meant to insult anyone here.

I’m not insulted because it’s not true. 😀

Our current President is unprecedented! That’s acknowledged by left and right alike. You either believe he’s a breath of fresh air, a real person who talks and acts just like “me”, or you believe he’s a threat to American Democracy (yes, representative democracy, blah blah).

I hope that there can be common ground to advance policies that protect people’s lives, get people back to work, lift people out of poverty and hopelessness and in general move the country forward.

The judge sums up the whole situation nicely -

‘The plaintiff’s interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible’

I would suggest to anyone who doesn’t trust that the media is accurately reporting the results of the court cases, most of the time the actual decisions are available online.

Here’s one:
I’m a hopeless legal geek. Ever since I took American Civil Liberties in college I love reading caselaw.

So, I slogged through the posted opinion. Wowza! I am surprised the lawyers filing that suit weren’t sanctioned or at least dressed down. They had to know there was nothing there and still filed suit and charged hours.

I spent a lot of years as a Test Manager for software products. I’m used to hearing from management or sales, “Hey, this new release sucks, everything’s broken”. Walking them through their issues, I could usually get through the smoke and feelings and come up with one or two true bugs that could be reproduced and fixed. The rest was just a generalized feeling and a distraction.

These election lawsuits remind me of that.

I had to use my VPN to get to this site from another country…

Fact Checking Regarding US Elections: Debunking Fake News

November 13, 2020 | General

Following several erroneous statements that have been published in digital and social media, Scytl would like to clarify the following:
  • The technologies implemented by Scytl in the US are both hosted and managed within the US, by a local subsidiary, SOE Software, based in Tampa, Florida.
  • We do not tabulate, tally or count votes in the US
  • We do not provide voting machines in the US
  • We did not provide online voting to US jurisdictions for the US elections.
  • We do not have servers or offices in Frankfurt
  • The US army has not seized anything from Scytl in Barcelona, Frankfurt or anywhere else
  • We are not owned by George Soros and have never been connected to him
  • We are not tied to Smartmatic, SGO, Dominion or Indra
  • We have no ties with Russia either

Irish group Paragon buys Scytl through Service Point

End the Scytl soap opera. The Irish group Paragon has acquired the production unit of the electronic voting company after the approval of the Commercial Court number 6 of Barcelona, which handled the bankruptcy of the Spanish company. The operation will be formalized through Service Point, the company of reprography and graphic solutions bought by Paragon in 2015, as this newspaper has learned from sources familiar with the operation. The company has published a relevant fact this morning in which it clarifies that a newly created subsidiary, called Scytl Election Technologies, fully owned by Service Point, will be established to manage the assets and intellectual property of the voting firm.

This outcome allows saving 140 jobs and giving continuity to a business that, with the rise of digitization after the Covid crisis, is called to gain integers between governments and organizations. Paragon’s plans are to relaunch Service Point as “a high-growth pan-European digital business platform.”
Scytl entered bankruptcy after dragging debts of more than 80 million euros. The firm requested the liquidation with the intention that the Sandton Capital fund would keep the productive unit. The judge dismissed this possibility as a takedown offer and the sale entered an auction process in which only Paragon has bid to the end.
Continued in subsequent post

Continuation:
Purchasing through Service Point is understandable, as it is the main link between Paragon and the Spanish market. Service Point is what is known in stock market slang as a pea , due to its high volatility and low activity. In recent weeks, however, the value of the company has exploded. Between October 8 and 9, its shares grew 137%. Its shares are now trading at 0.5 euros per share, compared to 0.3 euros at the beginning of the month.

According to the latest accounts deposited, the parent company of the voting firm, Scytl Secure Electronic Voting, had a turnover of 5.9 million in 2018 and lost 8.8 million euros. Founded in 2001 as a spin off of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the company was led by its founder, Andreu Riera, until his death in 2006. Since then, the executive Pere Vallès, current CEO of the online travel agency Exoticca, piloted the international expansion of the firm.

Ballotpedia has a list of litigation related to the election.

Unfortunately it has not been updated with the decisions issued Friday. And some of the links are to databases that require signing in, and presumably searching after that, etc. but it does give official name, #, lawyers, etc.

Thanks for the link. I have a PACER account, so I can look up all federal lawsuits.

But you’re right, you need to scorecard to keep track of them.

Now, there is more evidence of fraud by far than against Brett Kavanaugh but that was made a big deal.

Now we are told to accept defeat.

How does that work?
