Embarrassed Request for Prayers Again

Dear CAF,

I come to you to request prayers again for the grace to deal with my eye issues and with a special intention regarding my work situation. Please keep me in your prayers and ask our Lord to grant my the wisdom, grace, and strength to navigate the road ahead. While I am at it, a practicing Catholic husband would be nice too!

In all seriousness, I would really appreciate any prayers you can spare.

I had eye issues, i.e. detached retina torn in 4 places. I went to St. Philomena www.philomena.org and applied the oil, wore the cord, and said the prayers and my eye healed to 20/25 without scar tissue after the surgery.

May the Archangel St. Raphael, who is known as “The Medicine of God”, lay his soothing, healing hands upon your eyes, and cure them as he did for Tobit.

May the great St. Raphael also lead you to your chosen husband as he led Sarah to Tobiah.

Please get your Bible and re-read the very, very short Book of Tobit. Sounds like St. Raphael is just the guy you might want to make a Novena to.

I will keep you in my prayers. Please don’t ever be embarrassed to ask for prayers. We are brothers and sisters here, and we help one another.
 
Hey Mary, don’t feel bad or embarrassed about asking for more prayers. 🙂 I have to do it all the time. ;)😛 And besides, what are friends for but to be there for each other and pray for each other when one or both of them need it? 🙂

Dear Friends,

Please keep me in your continued prayers. I have another eye doctor appointment tomorrow. Please pray God will grant me the grace to handle the outcome of whatever lies ahead. I know God will take care of me and I need to stop wasting time worrying about something I cannot control. But I need Gods grace and prayerss to actually do that.
