~Embrace quality time with Him~

Been finding Jesus in the midst of my single life like no other & it’s the medicine to experiencing His authentic love He’s always had for us all along. No matter what I go through, He is the only one who consistently remains the same. He knows how to brighten my day in anything within the silence of the day at the park, at mass, listening to birds chirping, hearing an inspirational song, listening to a friend’s joyous encounter with Him, helping others draw closer to Him and seeing the impact, walking home, driving in my car, getting in a car accident & sitting still to recognize that He is ever-present, praying in Adoration & staring at Him- letting Him move me.

For you see, we can all embrace such quality time with Jesus when we let Him. It took me years to recognize this, but now that I make time for Him more, there’s no turning back to the dirty air of distractions that tries to suffocate the juice of His love and care for me and you. Please pray for an increase in all of us to consistently give quality attention to Jesus, the attention that He deserves from us daily. Like Fr. Schmitz says something like this in one of his videos, ‘all we have with Jesus is now, whether we choose to ignore Him or not’ (Acension Presents). He is the lover of our souls that doesn’t stop loving unconditionally. What a wonderful God we truly have, when we let Him be with us presently & let Him help us thru-out each day.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

I HAD a close walk w/ the Lord, but b/c
of disappointments and addictions in my life,
I got cold in my love for our Lord, thanks for
the reminder to RETURN to a closer walk
w/ Him!!

That is completely understandable. It’s easy to get caught up in everything else that demands attention, but humbling of Him to quietly wait in the midst of those moments to somehow draw us closer to Him.

I’m addicted to emotional compulsive shopping for reasons other than wanting to shop. By the time it’s bought, He always finds a way to remind me that material possessions will never satisfy my longings, not out of anger, but out of love and protection of me. The more this pattern has been recognized, the more I’d rather run into His tender arms than stand away. Whatever you’re going thru, He already sees the beautiful person you already are inside & out without those “distractions & addictions” that try to keep Him from you.

In the midst of everything, it is then that we find Him striving to pursue us one present moment at a time. With Him, “everything’s going to be okay” (Blessed Mother).
