Me too. Give me an Eastern brown snake any day , rather then a funnel web spider.

My sisters live in funnel web spider territory and keep squashing them, and panic over snakes.

Snakes are fun to watch.
We get them occasionally in our yard

Oh, she’s soooo cute! I just love her. I won’t let anyone hurt her. That’s what I say to my dogs, and one of my dogs actually says the same thing in his sleep when he dreams.

Actually my daughter saves spiders when they fall into the swimming pool.

I used to be afraid of roaches when I was around 17 and worked in a rendering company. I am not afraid of them any more. I was afraid of being widowed, but that happened and it’s over with. I was afraid of losing my loved ones, and that also happened. Now I am afraid of living TOO long, like 105 or so. That is not easy to deal with, I am sure.

I am so sorry for your losses. You have had so much challenge in your life.

My prayers are with you.

🙏🕊️

“…acceptance or surrender…” too passive? I would think these would take a considerable amount of effort and strength, therefore be the opposite of being passive.

I think it requires discernment, when to resign and when to fight.
