I live not far from where this happened and let me tell you, it has rocked the community, such a terrible tragedy. It was heart wrenching to see him carrying the smallest coffin at the funeral. The mother and children are with God now, let us pray for the father and grandparents that they have the strength and faith in Jesus to get through this.

To You, O Lord,
we humbly entrust this family,
so precious in Your sight.
Take them into Your arms
and welcome them into paradise,
where there will be no sorrow,
no weeping nor pain,
but the fullness of peace and joy
with Your Son and the Holy Spirit
forever and ever.

Amen.

Father of mercies and God of all consolation,
You pursue us with untiring love
and dispel the shadow of death
with the bright dawn of light.

Comfort this father in his loss and sorrow.
Be his refuge and strength, O Lord,
and lift him from the depths of grief
into the peace and light of Your Presence.

Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
by dying has destroyed our death,
and by rising, restored our life.
Enable us therefore to press on toward him,
so that, after our earthly course is run,
He may reunite us with those we love,
when every tear will be wiped away.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
