Be strong for your brother, he needs it. I am sorry that you are angry with God, but I hope that in time, you will see that that is of no help to you or to your brother. Please continue to pray for your brother and all involved with his care and his future.

Oh dear Becca,
Do not lose heart. The Lord is walking with you and your brother now. I know it is the hardest thing to do but you must be patient and wait for the medical doctors to do their part. Put aside the legal issue until he can be physically and mentally healed. If he has no other past legal issues, I am sure that he will do fine. Pray that you receive an answer to your brother’s uncharacteristic behavior. There is help for him no matter the cause. I pray that he is cared for by the most competent professionals. Continue your search for help. The National Alliance for Mental Health is a great resource. Find them online. And remember the Lord is with you always no matter where you must go. And remember that your CAF brothers and sisters are praying fervently for your whole family. Especially when you cannot.

Thank you for your prayers. I’m not sure what’s going on now - my brother has his court date today. I will try to keep you updated.
I am trying to be hopeful. I just don’t understand how much my family is going to have to go through before it’s enough. I have no idea when God is going to comfort us. It’s miserable around here. I wish I could just take my boys and leave.
It’s my son’s birthday and I have several tests today for my nursing classes - I can barely keep my head on straight.

I feel terrible for being so selfish and will go to confession this Saturday.
My brother seems to be doing better. He still has the tardive dyskinesia somewhat, but not to the extent he had before. We’re still not sure why he has it because he hasn’t had any medication yet.
Mentally, he seems to be doing better but is very tired all the time. He has an appointment with a psychiatrist in two weeks.
Thank you for thinking of us and praying for us. I think my parents are feeling better as well.
