Please pray for Cookie Dreda. She is in ICU with an anti-biotic resistant staph infection in her blood. Thank you.

O, God, have mercy on me a sinner, and regard not my iniquity, but grant my plea. Please let this special lady live. Not my will, but your will be done. Amern.:signofcross:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
and saved him out of all his troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34: 6, 18
My sacrifice is this broken spirit,
You will not scorn this crushed and broken heart.” (Psalm 51: 22)

The prayer of the lowly pierces the clouds; it does not rest till it reaches its goal,
Sirach 35:17…so of course God will hear the prayer of your humble heart for Cookie Dreda, and God’s will whatever that is, will be fulfilled.
Amen to your prayers for her.

Thank you.

For several days, her left arm was sore. Finally, Tuesday evening, she had me call 911 for her.
Wednesday I visited and found she had an abscess inside her left arm. The doctors had cut into it to irrigate and flush it out.
Today, she has gone into surgery on her left arm.

Please don’t stop praying. Thank you for praying.

:signofcross::signofcross:Dear God in Heaven
I pray that you keep our sister Cookie Dreda safe in Your loving arms , please continue to be by her side always

Hail Mary full of Grace
the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women
and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death
Amen

She’s been on a respirator since after her Thursday surgery.

The doctors are going to remove more dead tissue from her arm this evening. She may lose the arm.

Last week this time, she was suicidal.

Please pray to overcome her death wish.

:signofcross:

Oh, my Jesus,
Forgive us our sins,
Save us from the fires of hell
and lead all souls to Heaven.
Especially those which have
Most need of thy mercies.
Of which I am one and
Cookie Dreda is another.
Amen.

Friday evening, the doctors removed her left arm, to save her life.

I’m going to visit her again today. Yesterday at 2:00PM she tried to wake up but was too sedated.

Today and on out, they’re weaning her from sedatives and see if she can breathe without the respirator.

Please pray for her.

Thank you, Prauge,

Today when I visited her, her eyes were open. She’s still on respirator. Blood pressure Ok and white blood cell count high, fighting the infection.

The nurse says she almost died this week, so your prayers make a difference. Please don’t stop.
The nurse says they’re taking her to kidney dialysis Monday.
The nurse says they’ll check the wound for any more dead tissue. If no further necrosis of the MRSA, then Tuesday or Wednesday they’ll close the wound left by her missing arm.

So, this isn’t over, yet. Please keep her in your prayers.

:signofcross:

Oh, Dear God, please have mercy on Cookie Dreda.
Nonetheless, not my will but the Heavenly Father’s will be done.
Amen.

God of Love and Mercy: hear our petitions and cries for help for this poor woman. She is suffering greatly and only You can sustain and restore her. You know suffering, Lord. You know how lonely it is. You know how devastating to the mind it can be. Please - I beg you in Your Divine love - heal this poor woman. Hear our prayers. Show your love to this woman in some tangible way. I beg you. Amen.

Blessings,
Judi

Thank you, for your prayers, please don’t stop.

Yesterday she was awake, alert and responded to my questions. She was and still is on the respirator, so she can’t talk.
Today, she was asleep; today the doctors cleaned infection from her wound. The aim to clean it again, tomorrow. With her arm gone, all that is between her and death is the Good Lord’s, the Blessed Virgin Mary’s and the Saints’ answers to your prayers.

:signofcross:

Oh, God, have mercy on Cookie’s soul.
Amen.

:signofcross:

Thank you for your prayers.

There’s no necrosis nor infection in the wound. She’s out of the woods!
