EMERGENY PRAYER REQUEST - DAD’s EYESIGHT

Hello, prayer family!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for my dear father of 63 years who is a diabetic and is undegoing emergency eye surgery tomorrow or Wednesday. He has bad eye sight and we are so afraid that he may go blind. PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE not only that his eye sight may be restored but that he may enjoy his sunset years free of pain, affliction, anger and resentment. PLEASE PRAY FOR PEACE, HEALING AND BLESSING over my dear father.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (patmickd01’s Father). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into patmickd01’s Father’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear Sicilian Virgin and Martyr, whom the Church
recalls in Eucharistic Prayer I, you valiantly rejected
great promises and resisted several threats in remaining
faithful to your beloved Lord. For centuries Christians
have invoked you particularly when suffering from eye
trouble. So now we implore your assistance on behalf
of @patmickd01’s father, who is facing eye surgery.
We also ask you to teach us to imitate you and
to avoid spiritual blindness of any kind.
