Hi,
I was wondering what everyone thought or if they have heard anything about this seer. She started the Le peita Prayer groups and Our Lady Mother of Joy ptayer houses. Apparently she pulls rosebuds out of her breast and gold and mutli coloerd glitter falls on her when she is in s trance. She also suffers the passion and stigmata. Has the church taken any stand on these apparitions? More can be learned at the website just type in her name. Please let me know if you know anything , I don’t want to follow a seer that is not real. Thank you in advance?
God Bless you!

The only thing we know with certainty is that the messages of Emma de Guzman are not approved by the Church. It could be argued by some they are not approved so far but the bottom line is they are not approved as of this moment.

Although Emma’s messages have not been approved by the Catholic Church, I pray that some day soon they will be.

I personally know Emma and I can say that she is one of the “most humble” persons I have ever met. I have been in her presence probably 20 times since meeting her and such a feeling of peace and love comes over me each time. I have witnessed the stigmata on her person 3 times, always during Lent and these wounds are real as is her suffering during this time.

I am not a person who goes chasing after mystics. I care not about the sparkles that cover her. I just know that she is filled with the Holy Spirit and that she is authentic. I just happened to be at a place where she was when I first met her. All I can say is that if ever one gets the chance to hear her speak in your area, go listen to her and then ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Only the Church, not you, can say if what is happening is genuine.
For your information the Church has only declared one stigmata to be real and that was St Francis. Stigmata is one of the easiest things to fake.

How about Padre Pio?🤷

The Church never made any public declaration about the stigmata of Padre Pio.
Bear in mind too that stigmata is not part of the canonisation process and so played no part in Padre Pio’s canonisation.

So you mean that the Church hasn’t even approved St. Padre Pio’s stigmata?

Thank you,

I have been to her healing mass in Las Vegas and one thing that strikes me is she does not take credit for the many people who have been cured of diseases like cancer etc. She always says that Jesus is the healer and that she is just an instrument of God’s love for men. She does the healing after the Holy Mass because according to her, healing comes from Jesus truly present in the Holy Eucharist.

Actually, and most humbly, St. Francis is not the only approved Stigmatists… There have been many, both male & female.

With all due respect what you “feel” about her does not qualify her for being approved. I would be in a suffering state if I were to fake the stigmata if I cut wounds into myself for the prideful purpose of bringing attention to myself and the self-gratifying feelings that came along with it. One can present themselves in a very “humble” way and still have the overwhelming pride that causes one to commit fraud for whatever purposes the fraud gains for them. Many pathological people are very congenial and “sincere” with very charismatic personalities that win others over. Meeting a person several times does not qualify one to actually “know” what that person is all about. Only those who have grown up with someone may have a somewhat limited knowledge of that person, and even then not know the true person beneath the exterior.

Thus, we have the procedures within the Church to determine the validity of any person’s claims to visions, stigmata, and the such. There is already evidence presented on other websites that point out some of the statements she has claimed that are contradicted by Canonically approved Saints that claim the facts are otherwise concerning what they have had visions of that corroborate each other, but contradict Emma de Guzman’s claims of the vision of the same circumstances that she “witnessed”, or was given to see, as she claims, by our Holy Mother.

Stay away from that which is not approved. There is more than enough to lead us astray without adding more to the temptations.
