Over the years, I have learnt that in my case the saying ‘If you can the number of friendsf you have on one hand, you are lucky’. If hurts to think a lot of people are not true blue friends, but it also shows that what makes a good friend is really that out of all the people out there, this is one of the few that understands you.

Well, my 2 biggest confidants are on holidays for a month. I knew it would mean no talking to them and having to stand on my own for a month. I decided to look at the bright side and use this as an opportunity to really learn to rely on Jesus and bring my crosses to him in adoration. Intellectually, I know that Jesus will send me the people I need in His time and that I always must turn to him.

However, I must admit, I miss these people and am feeling sad and lonely.

Dear Anglewannabe,
I hope you were at Mass today and someone gave you a warm “Peace be with you.”
From me, “Peace be with you.”

On the opposite end, there are times when I really just want to be alone, spending time and space in openness, ready to listen and feel God’s presence… that Peace is with you.

In unity… take care always.

Yes true blue friends are hard to find, but just because you found a few good ones (good for you by the way 🙂 ) doesn’t mean you can’t make more true blue friends in the future.

Maybe spend a little time with some of the local parishioners in the mean time or maybe some family members 🙂 Of course spending time in Adoration is wonderful and important, but it’s also important to spend time with friends and family. 🙂

God Bless you!
