I’ve heard Tim Staples twice state that the Encyclopedia Britanica state the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ in 33 A.D. True? If so, where might I read that for myself? I would just like to see if it states that the RCC “claims” that it was founded, or if it states that it “was” founded. Thanks!

The Britannica is a pretty standard source. Even the smallest public library probably has it.

Try The Encyclopedia Britannica at your local library.

The Encyclopedia Britannica also says that NFP is a method of contraception, though I have never heard Tim Staples mention that.

Just a thought.

Don’t you have anything constructive to contribute to these forums?
I notice in other threads too that you only bring anti-Catholic comments to the table. Why don’t you take your hatred and bigotry elsewhere!!

OK… and the point is??? As taught by the Catholic Church… NFP is an approved method of contraception that can be used, with serious reason, that respects God’s natural law.

What I said is very constructive.

If one wants to rally around the supposed authority of the Encyclopedia, one should be prepared to be consistent.

If not, something is amiss.

Accusing my of “hatred” and “bigotry” because I merely disagree with what you believe is not the best road to take.

Of course, I have never said anything “anti-Catholic” in any other threads.

Try to keep this on topic rather than focusing on me.

God bless you.

The point is that the Roman Catholic Church calls contraception “morally unacceptable” and “intrinsically evil” in its own catechism (2370 and 2399).

I agree with what you say above, but you would be amazed how many Catholics would not.
