End of times.

So tonight I have heard another blood moon should occur. What does that mean to us. Where can I start reading in the bible the things that will happen before God comes to earth. I’ve heard at least like 4 times that the world is going to end that I just don’t believe it anymore, I do know that God will come but nobody knows the when, but the bible does say what will happen before the end of time. Anyone could help me with thank. Thank you in advance. May God bless you all.
 
Don’t worry about it. If you can see the eclipse, enjoy it. Things will be normal on Monday and thereafter. 🙂
 
Anything that can be chronologically predicted is not a sign of the end.

In any case, we should be so lucky.

Some things that will precede the End are:
  • The Rebellion will happen first - 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
  • The Antichrist will be revealed - 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
  • The Jews will become Christians - Romans 11:25-26

Sounds Protestant to me. I’ve certainly never come across that in any Catholic teaching.

But then again, there’s a lot of strange stuff in private revelations, which some people think is doctrine.

Yes, and its quite possible I’m misinterpreting something. In what ways do you think those paragraphs are different from what I said?
 
Just because the average Catholic church is even shyer about giving a nod of acknowledgement to these things than the average Protestant church, doesn’t mean it’s not Catholic.

The point is, the Lord isn’t going to “just turn up”. He instructed us to watch for signs. Parts of these may well be chronologically predictable in a limited sense but only parts. There is going to be a sequence of events. We largely don’t understand the details. The discerning will have seen some of them coming, in a way.

Sorry - I’m not interested enough in the subject to dig deep. I don’t have the “need to know” that so many others seem to have. Que sera, sera and all that. 🙂

What is your prayer? Your Kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven. Earth does not end, but Heaven comes here. And it isn’t now. But gird up your loins. I made a couple of other posts i gotta post here. End times has been taken down for review? Blood Moon?

Even So, I have seen many of your posts, and it seems to me that you are beyond caring about the end times, you are obsessed. I think that the person answering that question was trying to make the poster feel better, by saying they themselves don’t worry (there was definitely worry in the original post). I think you constantly reminding everyone that Jesus is coming and things are happening in the world isn’t doing anyone any good. We all know there’s a chance it could be any day, be it tomorrow or a thousand years from now when Jesus comes. Perhaps get off the computer for a while and enjoy life?

It isn’t that I don’t believe Jesus will return one day, and it isn’t that I don’t care, but I know the timing is up to God & I don’t have to know. I answered the OP because I wanted to reassure him that a lunar eclipse is nothing to be alarmed by - it isn’t a sign of anything. This “blood moon” business was made up by a few protestants to sell books.
