It kind of scares me. He has his reasons though, can’t say I agree with them. He just seems to strongly think that movie is Christ’s second coming because of certain “symbols” in the movie which he thinks are signs of Jesus.

In some ways I think he is paid by the movie industry…heh (just joking)
No matter what his reasons are he is just plan off.

First off, I do not see God using something as morally offensive as that movie for anything.

Second, the Judgement comes right after the Second Coming. Christ will come as Himself, not as a movie, but then I can not even see how a movie could be Christ.

Also Pace seems to not care for The Passion of the Christ, if I understand his reply.

In all honesty, I think he needs our prayers.

Just for clarification, do we not agree with JPII’s assertion that these are indeed the “End Times”? While I may think it’s a bit extreme to read too much into scripture to find signs of the second coming, Jesus does warn us to be aware for the signs He gives us. (Mark 13)
That being said, our personal “endtime” could be any day! 😉

We’ve been living during the End Times since the Christ’s ascension.

Huh?

What does a morally offensive movie like Mulholland Drive have to do with anything? What are you trying to say here?
Byz,

Mulholland Drive is not “morally offensive”, It is the re-birth into God’s light, truth and mystery. It is Jesus Christ in the disguise of a movie. It was necessary that the disguise appear as morally offensive (but in actuality not offend any morals).

What is the first lesson it teaches? It says to us, “Come back to me and learn what I truly am; not what people say that I am.” It teaches us to love mystery (i.e. God) again.

Having wandered off topic with movie discussions as opposed to end time markers…this thread is now closed
