Endochian language in a game?

Ok so Endochain language was made by an occultist who believed it is what Angels speak. He also said Angels showed him the language or he saw it in like some sort of thing like a crstal ball or something. (can’t remember mabye both:shrug He beilieved in mixing Christianity and magic or something. But a language to directly talk to the Angels was back in that time thought about. Skeptics said it is not consistant and follows english too. Like it is a fake language and it doesn’t follow another thing the guy said.

It is in a videogame with Angels who speak it and the writing in game are in it and some charecters use the languuage to do magic and summon demons.

So besides the plot of the game which would take like foreeeeeeeever to explain. Is it bad?

It’s called “Enochian”.

If you believe using Enochian language might actually invoke demons, then I would suggest staying away from it.

It’s actually “Enochian”, and if I’m not mistaken, it comes out of the journals of John Dee and Edward Kelly, who were advisor or members of the court of one of the English Monarchs. This was the first appearance of the language, in the days of alchemy. Modern studies of the language point to it being a constructed language.

In other words, they made it up.

As to the matter of calling down Angels or summoning up Demons, that’s a little dicier. While I support fantasy and assure you that anything shown in the game won’t materially summon a demon, it doesn’t exactly give glory to God, which I suppose is true of most games.

Would I still play it? Sure. I have a healthy appreciation for the differences between Truth and Fiction. I played a warlock back in my World of Warcraft days, but you didn’t see me sacrificing a goat on my desk to Baal so that the evening’s adventure would go well. I also use Enochian from time to time to add some rather clumsy flavour to roleplayed mages. I’ve never had one summon a demon with it, so I feel pretty good about that.

Again, an adult with a healthy appreciation for Truth and Fiction would suffer no spiritual damage for playing the game. On the other hand, if playing the game makes you feel guilty, why bother?

We all must learn to trust our consciences. God gave them to us for a reason.

I read it could have been construscted but what they said that they got it from creature or whatever through me off. (Wiki why can’t you only tell the truth… T.T)

Thank you for your help I think I have a mental illness that is making it harder for me to make some decisions and do things. I thought because this game had that language it was a taboo among other things that I’ll be debating.

I asked for a sign and had a dream or possibly dreams but my illness messed me up. I thought that mabye it was ok…

Also Endochian has its own type of magic as well unfortunately based on the writings in Dee’s journals. ):

I looked up some more and found something that is in the journal of one of the creators and it seemed like a demon or demons told them something very wrong and all. Not Angels. It doesn’t seem like angel’s made it. Mabye it was made up by the two men mabye not…
