I went to a Catholic high school where part of a religion class we studied the enneagram. For a while I forgot about it, then somewhat recently remembered it and did some digging again. I remember reading some stuff saying that the enneagram is actually NOT good, though I can’t remember specifics. I didn’t look too far into it and forgot about it again.
I was cleaning today and came across my book from high school about it. I flipped through it and read a bit of it, full well knowing I remember reading that it wasn’t necessarily in line with Catholic teachings, because I was curious as to what it said again. It was very negative and I only read for a few minutes, but then I did some more research just now and see alot of sources saying it’s pagan, occult, satanic, etc. And now I’m concerned that I committed a mortal sin by reading a bit of it, because I know I remembered reading that it wasn’t great but read a bit anyway! Can someone help out an anxious person out here?? Should I be rushing to confession??
