Enoch is dying.

Please pray for dh’s brother, Enoch, 83, who is dying of pancreatic & liver cancer and for his wife, Mary Alice for strength. They live in Alaska.
He is getting worse & she can’t lift him. A neighbor helps as he can.
Their only child a 50-ish son had a heart attack last week.
Enoch is on pain meds & sleeping a lot. He is going back to the doctor on Mon. (if it can wait that long).
Thank you for your prayers. It will uplift this family.

Agatina, I’m so sorry your family is going through such painful ordeals and emotions.
I ask God to use every moment of pain and sorrow as a prayer for blessing upon your family.
My prayers for Mary Alice that God will help her through her double distress for her husband and for her son, and I ask Him to support and comfort your husband, and you, and all your family.

Lord, Enoch is dying. May he be blessed to have a happy, peaceful death with the sacraments and die comforted in your loving arms. Help his wife and son, Lord, to find comfort in you also. Help this family at this difficult time to draw closer to you and to each other and do not let any of them fall into despair or hopelessness. May they always find in you their hope and strength. May you always be their rock and refuge. Amen.

Thank you all for all your prayers for Enoch & his wife & our family. May our dear Lord bless all of you.
Some changes have been made; Enoch is about the same, weak & sleeping a lot & on pain meds. Hospice was started today. He is home and Praise God the people of their church have it worked out that my sister-in-law will not be taking care of him alone from now on, day or night.
It is an amazing evidence of the love of these people.
Further, Enoch & Mary Alice will have their 60th anniversary in August. But due to the circumstances the people of their church came over Sunday & told her to go & rest with Enoch & they would take care of everything. So she went & took a nap. When they got up the living room was all decorated, and filled with people and food. A party! For their 60 yrs.
Tomorrow we are going to send some anniversary flowers.
Tonight when we talked to her she sounded secure & like she felt safe & even happier.
