Enriching Inner Prayer
[Me]
Jesus, teach me how to pray interiorly,
Help me to pray always each and every day.
[Jesus]
My Child, share all your mind, body, and soul with Me,
All that you do, think and are and ever hope to be.
Share with Me your joys, triumphs, hurts, and sorrows too.
Love Me dearly, love others, and feel My love for you.
[Me]
Jesus, this is hard, help me this day to better pray,
To love You more and love those I meet today.
[Jesus]
My Child, I will always help you from your heart to pray.
I will grant you graces to help you love more each day.
You only need to ask, for your free will I will not violate.
I will increase your love and prayer as you freely cooperate.
[Me]
Jesus, I ask and ask again and want to cooperate,
But at times it seems to me not to grow at any rate.
[Jesus]
My Child, it takes practice to improve these gifts inside your heart.
You must choose to pray and love Me and others, doing your part.
The more you choose to pray and love and the more you do,
The more the ability to pray deeply and love will grow within you.
[Me]
Jesus, at times, I have problems hearing You talk to me,
What can I do to hear You speak to me clearly?
[Jesus]
My Child, I speak in gentleness and love in the quiet of your heart.
You must slow yourself down, put yourself at rest to start,
Listen with all your being, feel My love, and start sincerely hearing,
For I communicate dwelling with love in your thoughts and caring.
[Me]
Jesus, even when I do this, at times, I feel empty,
Like You are not even there, and have abandoned me.
[Jesus]
My Child, as I love you deeply, I want you to grow in faith too.
Faith means believing without sensing anything that I am with you.
There will be times when I seem to you to be totally absent.
In those times, believe in Me and know that I am truly present.
[Me]
Jesus, sharing is not always easy as wounded and sinful am I,
I want to hide my imperfections from Your loving eye.
[Jesus]
My Child, I know everything, I know when you are good and bad.
I know all you think and feel, when you are happy and sad.
Do not be afraid of Me, share with Me your flaws from your heart,
And with your cooperation, I will help them be lessened or to depart.
[Me]
Jesus, why must I who love You dearly suffer so much?
Why do You not heal me with Your loving touch?
[Jesus]
My Child, without suffering in the world, love would not truly grow,
And the ability to love deeply is one of the greatest gifts I bestow.
I love you with all My being and want the best for you each day,
I want to share with you your sufferings and help you on your way.
[Me]
Jesus, thank You for loving me as only You can,
Help me to love and pray deeply and be a loving human .
[Jesus]
My Child, I am always with you, helping you to pray and love.
I shower down my endless blessings on you from heaven above.
I want only to be your friend and your life to truly be the best.
Share with me all of yourself, love deeply, and let me do the rest.
