I would like to mention here that there is no concept of a fallen angel in Quran/Islam. All angels do what GodAllahYHWH commands them to do.

The Holy Quran : Chapter 66: Al-Tahrim
[66:7] O ye who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is men and stones over which are appointed angels, stern and severe, who disobey not Allah in what He commands them and do as they are commanded.

There is some reason you started this thread right when you did. I think you reached her in a major way. It was just that despair had a stronger hold for that one brief, tragic moment.

Hi

As Quran/Islam/Muhammad inform us that the angels have been created by GodAllahYHWH and by definition they cannot disobey God and they only fulfill His commands.

Satan/Devil is a separate creature who has got nothing to do with the angels. Satan is not a fallen angel; this weird concept is not mentioned in Quran/Islam. In God’s creation theme Devil or Satan is who always disobeys God.

It is only human being who have the choice to do good things or bad things and would be rewarded accordingly by GodAllahYHWH.

Thank you Little Deb. I feel like you are right. We had so many interesting discussions together, and shared many a tears together too. I knew she was down, but- I did not know- I honestly did not know this was on her mind.

I thought her question oddly as almost another attempt to come back the the Church… Her intense sudden interest in such things made me hopeful…
