I was just speaking to someone who camped out on the lawn of the seminary to attend this ordination.

Whaddya say we all do a field trip and attend the 2013 ordinations together.

Yep, I watched it this morning on Rorate Caeli. Long but beautiful.
 
Thanks for posting this. The FSSP ordained 5 in the USA (don’t know how many in Germany). On Rorate Caeli it says the New York Diocese only ordained one this year and he is saying the Latin mass. Is Vatican II on its deathbed?

I shouldn’t be critical but I have to comment that Vatican II was not a form of the Mass.

The Ordinary Form is one of several forms of the Mass that are recognized by Holy Mother, the Church. And no its not on its death bed. It may, perhaps require some more discussions with the SSPX but the OF and the EF are both valid forms of the Mass and neither form is going away in the foreseable future.

I happen to be very partial to the EF and consider it my first love. The wife says thats OK with her. 😃

I so wanted to attend this new priest’s first mass just to support him, but I had already promised a friend I was going to attend her choral concert.
