if you think I can not go to Church with her, then our Marriage will be in trouble.
I know of no prohibition by the Church keeping you from attending your wife’s services. The only prohibition is against receiving their sacraments. Despite what those misinformed priests have told you, canon 844 of the Code of Canon Laws is binding upon all Catholics.

If there is a prohibition by the Church against attending Protestant services, will someone please cite a source? If not, then I by what authority is this prohibition?

UofFl19,

This is what I have found the Pontifical Council for Fostering Christian Unity …
In liturgical celebrations taking place in other Churches and ecclesial Communities, Catholics are encouraged to take part in the psalms, responses, hymns and common actions of the Church in which they are guests. If invited by their hosts, they may read a lesson or preach. (Pontifical Council for Fostering Christian Unity, *Directory for the Application of Principles and Norms on Ecumenism, *Ch.IV , par. 118, Mar 25, 1993, approved by Pope John Paul II, vatican.va/roman_curia/pontifical_councils/chrstuni/documents/rc_pc_chrstuni_doc_25031993_principles-and-norms-on-ecumenism_en.html).
It seems you are not only allowed to attend, but are encouraged to attend Protestant liturgical celebrations (just don’t partake of their communion).
