If one is called to live the eremitic life, can the local diocese provide a residence?

You’re talking diocesan hermit? Then you’re on your own, pretty much, and need some kind of remunerative work to support yourself. My site has an article about the diocesan hermit vocation. Should be under “articles of interest.”
