Errors in the Tyndale Non-Bible

I’ve read that we burned the Tyndale Bibles because they were erroneous to the point they weren’t God’s holy word. I’ve also read examples of such errors. But how do we have examples of the errors if we burned them? Did a few Tyndale “Bibles” survive, or were the errors preserved in other records? Thank you.
