The government has been carrying out a huge offensive against the Militants, it has gotten to be a more and more serious response, the first offensive a few months ago, went into the neighborhoods, but this newer offensive has involved air strikes which sounds fairly intense and from the stories, it sounds like the government is winning. It’s sad that things had to go so very far, people on the ground make it sound like the militants were nearly taking over whole provinces or states before this offensive.
