Essence/Energy distinction exist in Jewish thought?

Does Jewish thought on God make a distinction between essence and energy?

I’m not sure if the terms “essence” and “energy” would be used, but there is Ain Sof and the Ten Sefirot, where Ain Sof is comparable to “essence” and the Ten Sefirot to “energies”.
