I hear a lot from people who think that when I die, I’ll go straight to hell simply because I was born with the external appearance of a male but identity as female and since I want to find a male companion that I can spend the rest of my days with, maybe adopt a few kids, and, especially wait until a proper marriage ceremony in a church before we are to consummate our love. Then there are people who believe that I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy because I didn’t pray for God to heal me. I don’t see Science as being incompatible with Faith as many people wish to presume. I don’t see a conflict of Faith if I live as an ordinary well-adjusted member of society and, due to this understanding, I have decided that it’s time for me to return to the church. Currently, I’m studying to be a Medical Doctor and I believe that with Faith, I can better act with love and compassion towards my future patients. However, that being said, I don’t like being judged or ridiculed in the name of God when, in all reality, God has nothing to do with it, prejudice and bigotry are what facilitate this opinion. Surely, there are far worse atrocities than me living as the person God, in his infinite wisdom, created me to be. I’m not transgender or disabled because of personal choice but to test the compassion of people who believe they follow the teachings of Christ. Even if being homosexual is a sin, I don’t believe I could be labeled as such because, in my heart, Mind and soul, I’m Female. Doesn’t the bible say that those are the only aspects of truly being one with God? I’ve never stolen, raped, murdered, lied, looked upon another with lust, bore false witness, been envious of another, disobeyed my parents, been blasphemous against God, looked at another with disdain or spoke about something other than Faith in God with pride, but I’m somehow worse than most of the planet. Why is that? When, people speak on morality, I must ask, who gives you the right to judge another? Only he who is without sin may cast the first stone, have people truly forgot what being a Christian is really about? I can’t say that I am without sin because every member of the human species has sinned at some point in their life. However, I can say, I’ve never been guilty of the really bad sins but I don’t go judging the sins of other, at the end of the day you only have to answer for your sins when you face God. Many people refuse to acknowledge their sins and say that they are saved cause they have repented. If you pray to God for forgiveness and tell Him you won’t commit a particular sin ever again but, the very next day, continue your sin. I regret to inform you but that’s not repentance. Lying to God won’t get you into heaven, judging another won’t get you into heaven, and certainly, hurting another won’t get you into heaven. Leave the hatred and hypocrisy to Lucifer and his ilk, don’t try to justify it with your belief in God because deception is the work of the devil not God. I’ve never deceived anyone either because that’s not who I am, if someone can’t accept me as a Female than that’s fine, it’s their problem not mine. I read like an open book, despite the dangers of being honest in this world. If someone should so choose to harm me for who I am, then they’ll have God to answer to.

Are you asking a question, or making a speech?

No-one can or should presume to judge the state of your soul; we as human beings do not have that right.

However, if you have a male body, then you are male. You cannot form an erotic relationship with another male without committing the grave matter of sin. Your female feelings may mitigate the sinfulness, but they cannot make it OK.

God Bless and ICXC NIKA.

You have obviously been hurt in the past by bigotry, prejudice and cruel judgemental words. I’m so sorry for that and can only urge you to forgive the past pain you have experienced through others. Hang onto the fact that God, who created us all, loves us all and died for us all, is beside you all the time. Trust in His all-encompassing love and live your life in peace. We all need to remove the huge boulders in our own eyes before we can presume to criticise others. Try to ignore those who forget that! God wants us to love Him, to love one another as He loves us, to serve Him in this life and to be happy with Him forever in the next. Your Faith can bring you great joy. It’s a precious gift.

God bless you and grant you future happiness. 🙂

Not really making a statement or asking a question, merely stating my opinion and perspective on sin, sort of speaking on the hypocrisy of the people who judge me, asking how someone can judge me or claim they’re free from sin.

Only God knows and can judge your soul. Our only job is to love one another. Someone may lovingly tell you that they think that your beliefs about yourself or your actions are what they think is sinful (wouldn’t likely be me) but they cannot tell you whether you are going to Heaven or hell. I expect that a lot of people, including probably me, may be surprised by who is and isn’t there.

Could I get some clarification?

When you say that you were born with the appearance of a male, do you mean that you have the genotype XX, but due to some reason, such as exposure to gonadotrophin in the womb, you have a male phenotype? Or is it that you are genetically a male, but you are saying you are psychologically a female?

Either way, no human except Jesus can truly judge the state of your soul. People can talk, but they are wrong. And by wrong I mean immoral AND incorrect.

I’m XY, I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, it typically only affects those with an XY genotype. However, that being said, I was born with quite a bit more Estrogen than an average Male but also just barely more Testosterone than the average Female. I have Male bits and I’m mostly flat-chested although, with Estrogen pills, I’m developing breast tissue at a much faster rate than 95% of MtFs. Since August, when I started the pills, I’ve become practically a B-cup. I’m incapable of producing what can typically be used to create offspring. So, I’m biologically Male but also somewhat biologically Female. I don’t know for sure what my actual biology is but this is what a team of medical doctors were able to determine. My parents were never honest with me as to my genetics but they also completely abandoned me when I told them I was a girl. Despite always doing what they told me, I was completely rejected when they realized that they couldn’t put me in any one category. I don’t have decent health insurance because I can’t afford it and I’m stuck with public insurance, only due to the genuine hospitality of my friends do I have decent dental care or transition services. The new health laws haven’t really helped the healthcare situation. It’s also difficult for me to find caregivers due to my legal Gender being Male and me having Male parts but living as Female. I have no shortage of potential boyfriends but for most of my care, I need trained healthcare professionals. Most medical people aren’t judgmental but most STNA’s and LPN’s, the people who the state specifies administer my care, don’t have as much knowledge on the subject aren’t really qualified. Furthermore, I can’t go to a nursing or assisted living facility cause those places are much worse than my current situation. Also, I’m twenty-three, can’t really be around much older people who’ve already lost their minds and I’m attending medical school, so can’t be confined without any freedom if I’m gonna fulfill my purpose on earth.

I am sorry to hear what you have gone through, where I live it is very expensive to go to medical school. Perhaps it is different where you live, however I find it difficult to reconcile some of the details you have mentioned.
Do you have a place to call home?
Is someone caring for you financially?
Are you able to get proper medical attention if you need it?
You are correct no one can tell you if you are going to go to hell.
Do take care of your self, God loves you as much as he loves every one else, no matter what.

Oh, I live with a few of my close friends and due to my academic prowess I was able to get medical school paid for. Some of my friends are willing to help me financially and my current boyfriend helps me with some of my financial needs. If my life was in danger due to lack of access to medical care, I could be taken to the hospital by the paramedics. Most of them are pretty decent people, I’m just worried that if I go to ER too many times that I’ll be sent to a nursing facility.

Wow, awesome, good for you. Not many people have such good friends! It says a lot about you as a person.

I wish you well and will pray for you.

Well, I just treat everyone with love and respect and expect the same dignity. Most of my friends do not share the beliefs I have when it comes to my Gender but they at least have the decency to treat me like any other girl and try not to judge me or whatever boyfriend I happen to be with at the moment. Just to clarify, I’m a virgin. Kissing and cuddling are both fine, in fact they’re my favorite activities, but I’ve made the decision to remain celibate until marriage. I don’t care if it’s legally recognized, it’s just important for me to have a church wedding. Also, I’m typically the first transsexual they’ve ever been with cause I’m never suspected of having any male parts and I don’t date gay guys. Since I look like a girl, identify as a girl and act like a girl, I can’t see myself dating gay guys. Just for the record, I only date men who have Faith in God and I’ve never broke up with a man due to my Gender. In fact, I always initiate the breakups. Like all women, I’ve dated some abusive guys. Also, I struggle with mental health issues due to being judged. I don’t hide the fact that I’m transsexual because I don’t fear anyone but it’s also very rarely something that I bring up in conversation. Only with friends or online so I can get advice. Also, when I tell a man I’m transsexual, that’s the end of the conversation. If someone finds out that I’m transsexual somehow and judges me for it, that’s the only time I’ll respond. But, back on the subject of friends, I’ve learned to always appreciate what my friends do for me. Furthermore, since many of my friends help me with care I need, it’s not like I can hide my Gender from them, so typically my friends are fairly open-minded despite rarely agreeing with me on any subject. I wouldn’t want to be friends with anyone who constantly agreed with me, I only like people who can think for themselves. There are facts which one should always agree with and then there are opinions which are open to interpretation. I respect everyone’s right to their own opinion but just just can’t stand people who judge others. Glad I have decent friends who also help me financially.

Unfortunately, those people are very rude, mean and arrogant to say you are going to hell. Do not take what some people say seriously. In the end of the day, no one can judge your soul accept God. The only thing I disagree with is you naming off sins you have not committed. You are not a better person because you do not commit sin X, Y,& Z. I don’t think you are as innocent as you present yourself to be. Never lied? REALLY? YOU ARE NOT CONDEMNED OR DAMNED. Keep living with your faith in God.

I experience hatred from people on a regular basis, first of all. Also, unlike many people, I don’t believe all sin is equal. I’ve never broken one of the ten commandments nor have I ever hurt anyone, I think that makes me a better person comparatively. I only compare myself to others when they first start judging me or criticizing me. People condemn me or tell me I’m damned to hell on a regular basis. I’ve been violently assaulted, both sexually and physically, just because of who I am. My own family disowned me and I had to work hard to get where I am today. I had to go without food for weeks, in the past, just so I wouldn’t have to turn to theft or prostitution. Jesus said, “the only two commandments I give to you are to love your God and to love your neighbor as I have loved you.” I’m not trying to say I’m free from sin merely stating that those who have the audacity to judge me are typically a lot worse. I’ve experienced extreme hatred as a result of people who claim to be Christian. It’s ironic how many false Christians claim persecution where there is none yet they turn around and persecute others then beguile them or speak in disbelief of the atrocities that they commit. I take very much offense to the implication that my years of condemnation and vicious attacks didn’t happen. I never said I was innocent just that I had not committed any serious offenses to God or participated in any of the seven deadly sins. I don’t say I’m better than anyone unless trying to prove a point to judgmental individuals, so I don’t believe that can be interpreted as pride. I do sin, sometimes I eat meat. The difference is, I know I’ll continue to eat meat so I don’t lie to God and claim I won’t eat meat. I’m pretty sure supporting and, sometimes, participating in political activities is a sin. I watch television with bad language, that’s a sin. Oh yeah, I also masturbate, very rarely, and never for sexual purposes but, regardless, it’s still a sin. I don’t have a paleo diet and I eat processed food. However, none of those consist of any really bad sin. The point isn’t me saying that I’m free from sin and everyone else is a sinner, my point was we all sin, some more than others, but it’s typically the most judgmental people that sin more than everyone else.

I understand what you are saying. I am sorry. People can be so mean sometimes. I do not know why. I guess people just follow parts of the bible, that is convenient for them.

Yes, that is most likely the case, I just wish people could learn not to judge.

I don’t know that I would call either one “transgender” in the modern sense, but I have heard that Saint Francis (whom I adore) was somewhat feminine, and that the brothers of his order sometimes called him mother. (I’d like to find more official verification of that claim.) In addition, the same sources mentioned that there was a female member of his own order (was it Saint Claire? I can’t remember) which was an all male order. He supposedly said to the brothers, “I have made her a man.” I’d love it if someone can point me to a reputable source to confirm/debunk any of the above, as I only have second and third hand sources at the moment. I mean no disrespect to any saints.

Saint Clare of Assisi was a follower of his, and started the female version of his order. She did not join the male order.

Yeah, no matter the circumstance of St. Clare of Assisi, only one whose gender is ambiguous or they appear to have a specific biology but appear and live in a way different from their assigned gender would be considered as Transgender. Also, according to many scientists and doctors, transgender would be considered an intersex condition.

I would stay celibate and take up your Cross and find True Love
