While it can be achieved because of the saving power of Jesus, it is by no mean guaranteed. You don’t get eternal life (here I take it as going to heaven) regardless of whatever you do. Believing alone, faith alone is not enough to get eternal life if by your action you sin through and through.
BTW, afterlife is eternal - either heaven or hell.

Reguardless of what Church you belong too. Is eternal life guaranteed to all humans, every single person who has ever lived, who is living, and who will live on earth. Is their eternal life guaranteed?OH you mean OUTSIDE Christs church, the Catholic Church?

Although I empathize with some of the answers here, I’m worried you might end up confused about how Catholics (Catholic literature or documents or the Bible) typically use the phrase “eternal life”. This phrase does not refer to the damned in hell. That is more likely to be called eternal punishment. Those in heaven have eternal life, of course. People in hell are those who are incapable of or deprived of or lack eternal life.
Catholics do not believe in the doctrine of universalism. They do not believe in the final salvation (going to heaven) of all souls that ever were on the earth.

Yes. After death, life is eternal whether you are in heaven or in hell, you will be eternally there. So it is guaranteed that we will live eternal life after our death and that’s why we work so very hard so that we do not have to land on the other part of eternal life which we do not want.

No, they are not. All human souls are immortal and will in the end will have a body, and those bodies and souls will remain, and not be destroyed/disintegrated into complete non-existence. The souls in heaven and in hell remain.

We are immortal beings on a mortal journey.
We are already eternal beings.
Eternal Life is life with God in Heaven.
Without God, it will be eternal torment, not life.
So my answer to your question is No, we are not guaranteed eternal life. While we have eternal existence, without God, it is not life.

It would help if the OP is more specific because right now we are only guessing his question. Both aspect of life after death has been answered unless we want to go into the semantic. If he is a reverend minister this topic is certainly not alien to him but if he wants to ask question he has to present it in a way that we know what he wants.
As it is, Catholics are starting to give a variety of answers; some say yes while some says no, and some qualify their answers.

Geez, thats not what Mark, Luke or Revelation states or the CC. And I believe its incorrect interpretation by reading other Bible verse.
And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.
