Do you think it’s possible to succeed in business while still staying true to your faith?

The workplace often puts you in difficult ethical positions.
 
yes we have owned several businesses and while often decisions were made that cost us lots of money and opportunity, Catholic ethics have always governed those decisions, and especially since we chose when we hard partners people who shared those ethics.
 
I have had to compromise to stay employed. I accept the fact that it is not my job to run the business and we don’t do anything atrocious.

Define succeed?

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul…Somebody said that…a long time ago…now who was that guy…:hmmm:…Oh yea - Jesus.

Definitely! Tom Monaghan, the founder of Domino’s Pizza was and still is a devout Catholic. My senior year at Franciscan University he flew in 20 managers to help us hone our interviewing skills. I think he also built a retreat house.

You cannot succeed much more than he did!👍
