Etiquette for First Communion

Hello all – I’ve been invited to my cousin’s First Communion but won’t be able to attend. Is it appropriate to send a gift anyway? Is a monetary gift appropriate? If so, what sort of monetary range would be considered generous? This branch of my family is very traditional Italian, if that makes a difference!

A religious gift would be most appropriate.

A subscription to MagnifiKid is a unique idea - in large families, it is hard to find an unique FHC gift.
 
I agree, a religious gift would be better than money. My daughter is receiving her FHC in a few weeks and I’d love for someone to get her a Magnifikid subscription.
